Torre dei Beati is a family-run company founded in 1999 in Loreto Aprutino in the province of Pescara by the couple of Adriana Galasso and Fausto Albanesi. It is a small reality that in a few years has distinguished itself for the quality of the wines produced in the traditional style from the native Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Pecorino vines.
Adriana and Fausto immediately decided to work organically and in an artisanal way, partly maintaining the pergola cultivation typical of Abruzzo. Loreto Aprutino is a place known to wine lovers, as it is considered one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo and home to true "wine artisans".
The territory extends between the high mountains of the Gran Sasso d’Italia and the Adriatic coast and the soil is clayey and calcareous. The area is also heavily influenced by winds, the cold ones coming from the Balkans and the more temperate ones coming from the south. Under these conditions the wines take on a particularly personality with refined bouquet and fresh taste.
Torre dei Beati cultivates 21 hectares between 250 and 300 m above sea level and produces an average of 100,000 bottles a year.
