The winery Cesarini Sforza specializes in the production of traditional method sparkling wines from grapes grown on the hills of Trentino. It was founded by Alberto Cesarini Sforza in 1974 supported by a group of Trentino vintners and wine makers with a decisive role of Giuseppe Andreaus. Since its foundation, the goal has been to enhance the production of Trentino sparkling wines, the only type of wine produced by Cesarini Sforza.

Most of the vineyards are located in the Cembra Valley with a steep slope and prevalent southern exposure at altitudes between 300 and 500 m. Other vineyards are located on the left bank of the Adige river not far from the city of Trento. Only one vineyard is located to the right side of the Adige in Vallagarina.

The company has recently changed ownership and belongs to the Cavit group. However, the style and quality of the wines has not changed, on the contrary the belonging to a large entrepreneurial group has given Cesarini Sforza the financial tranquility and commercial outlets that allow the winery to focus more on the quality of production in the philosophy that always distinguished it. Cesarini Sforza produces about one million bottles a year.
