Breuil Castle is located in Normandy and dates back to the 16th-17th centuries. Today it houses the distillery run by the family of Philippe Bizouard, which has always produced Calvados. The estate has 22,000 apple trees from which it produces cider through a natural fermentation of apple juice and the highly prized Calvados, distilling apple cider. The distillation is double to obtain a particularly refined product, which is aged in oak barrels in the cellar of the castle in order to acquire aromas and softness. Château du Breuil produces Calvados under the appellation "Pays d’Auge" which requires the exclusive use of apples from the region. This guarantees a recognized and appreciated quality standard. The Calvados of Château du Breuil enjoy an excellent reputation.
