Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri was founded in 1984 by Pietro Vitali in Montefalco, an area with ancient winemaking traditions. Located in a 14th-century fortification, the Rocca, the winery is currently run by sisters Roberta and Simona Vitali.The estate covers about 60 hectares, mainly dedicated to the production of Sagrantino, Montefalco Rosso and Colli Martani Grechetto.

The winery is engaged in a continuous renewal of its vineyard facilities, with the goal of consolidating the production of high-quality wines. Annual production is about 150,000 bottles, with a range that includes Montefalco Sagrantino, Montefalco Rosso, Colli Martani Grechetto, Faroaldo (Sagrantino and Cabernet Sauvignon) and a pure Chardonnay.

The location of the estate, detailed knowledge of the soil and climate characteristics and a conscious approach to viticulture are the basis for the cultivation choices. The winery aims for a balance between specialized plantings, natural context and sustainability, with the goal of creating wines that reflect the beauty and harmony of the terroir. The winery is also involved in research and experimentation to introduce new vine varieties and clones to the region.

Rocca di Fabbri values experience, seeking to integrate multiple components to achieve complex and balanced wines. The art of winemaking is a priority, with the winery having the privilege of exclusively vinifying grapes from its own vineyards.
