Ottella is a renowned winery on Lake Garda founded in 1905 by the Montresor family. They have always believed in Lugana wine and were the promoters of the DOC specifications set up in 1967. After more than a century, the same family still manages the 110 hectares of vineyards located between the Garda area and Valpolicella.
The current winery in San Benedetto di Lugana, in the province of Verona, was built with a main focus on architecture and art. In fact, the Montresor family has linked itself to supporting the artistic activity by establishing the "OTTELLA FOR GAM" award and collaborating with the Achille Forti Museum of Contemporary Art.

The historic vineyards extend on the southern shore of Lake Garda, on compact clayey soils of glacial origin. It is here that the Turbiana grape gives life to traditional whites full of charm, which Ottella offers in various versions. The production range is very articulated, offering many facets of the typical wines of the province of Verona. Ottella works in the vineyard without synthetic products and is in organic conversion. Some vineyards are already fully managed wit organic farming.
