Biancavigna is a young winery in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, of a family that has been rooted in the region and owned vineyards for over a century. The grapes from the family vineyards used to be sold to third parties for a long time. The idea of ​​making wine and bottling on their own came from the last generation of the Moschetta family, when Enrico and Elena decided to start their entrepreneurial adventure. Enrico studied oenology and worked for years on behalf of other wineries in the area.
Elena has a managerial experience behind her. Together they decided to exploit the family vineyards to start a quality Prosecco production. They were also driven by the love for their land and the desire to express the value of the territory in their wines. They therefore give a lot of importance to the management of the vineyards and to the separate vinification vineyard by vineyard. They work only with their own grapes, of which they know every detail. They try to work respecting nature and the environment according to sustainability principles. With these same principles they created the new wine cellar: a formidable example of environmentally friendly architecture integrated into the landscape.
Bioancavigna started producing Prosecco in 2004, today it has 32 hectares of owned vineyards both in the most suitable areas of the Congegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG and in the DOC Prosecco area in the province of Treviso. Their annual production is 600,000 bottles and their wines are reviewed by the best guides and served in the best restaurants in Italy and in the world, even starred.
