Salvatore Martusciello comes from a family that has been active in Campania's oenology for over twenty years. Salvatore set up his own business with his wife Gilda Guida with a specific project aimed at producing wines from native vine varieties of the Campania coast. He owns only two hectares of vineyards in the Campi Flegrei, where he grows ungrafted plants of Falanghina, but he also uses the grapes of a series of trusted suppliers in other suitable areas such as Aversano and the Sorrento Peninsula.
Salvatore Martusciello's wines are based on grape varieties, that are little known outside their growing sub-regions, but are capable of giving wines with a contemporary taste, if carefully vinified. This is what made him famous; in fact, within a few years he jumped to the fore as one of the most authentic realities of Campania winemaking. He produces about 70,000 bottles a year.
