List of products by brand Di Majo Norante
Di Majo Norante
Di Majo Norante is synonymous with Molise wine, it is in fact one of the oldest, most reliable and best known wineries in the region, based in Campomarino, not far from the Adriatic coast, in the province of Campobasso. The estate derives from the ancient fiefdom of the Norante Marquises of Santa Cristina, has been managed for two centuries by the Di Majo Norante family and today has 140 hectares of vineyards conducted with certified organic farming since 1996. Despite being historic, the Di Majo Norante winery has always been at the forefront in researching and enhancing the territory, focusing above all on native grape varieties, but without preconceptions.
The land on which most of the vineyards extend are composed of clay and sand and are influenced by the sea breezes of the Adriatic, which guarantee optimal conditions for the cultivation of vines and the production of quality grapes from typical Southern Italy varieties, such as Montepulciano, Aglianico, Falanghina, Greco, Fiano as well as the native grape Tintilia, Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Moscato bianco. The winery's approach is to understand and enhance each plot, so that each vineyard includes only the varieties that benefit most from the specific soil and climatic conditions and each label originates from a specific vineyard.
