The Damilano family has been producing wine for over 100 years in their winery in Barolo and boasts vineyards in the most prestigious crus in the municipalities of Barolo and La Morra: Cannubi, Cerequio, Brunate and Liste. Names that arouse more than an emotion to Barolo enthusiasts. Cannubi in particular has a reputation that dates back to the 1700s, when there was still no mention of Barolo wine; here Damilano manages a total of 10 hectares of vineyards.
The style of the wines is traditional, although executed with precision according to modern winemaking techniques. In addition to Barolo, released in several labels based on the Cru of origin of the grapes, Damilano offers a wide range of wines, that consist of all the Langhe tradition, including white wines, dessert wines, sparkling wines and the typical Barolo Chinato (a flavored wine).
At the helm of the winery since 1997 are the founder's grandsons: Guido, Mario and Paolo Damilano; from 73 hectares of vineyards they produce 450,000 bottles annually. The Damilano winery in 2013 inaugurated a high-level restaurant within its building, to offer its visitors a complete food and wine experience.
