List of products by brand Collalto
Collalto
The estate of Conti Collalto extends between the hills of Conegliano and the Piave plain and has been managed by the same dynasty for over a thousand years, today led by Princess Isabella Collalto de Croÿ. The Princess has an operational role in managing the winery and has made a shift towards sustainable agriculture.
Of the 164 hectares of vineyards, 94 are dedicated to the production of the finest Prosecco in the DOCG category; the winery also produces still wines according to the tradition of the Conegliano Hills.
A peculiarity of Collalto winery is the cultivation of the various Manzoni crosses, even the less frequent ones. In fact, the estate had entered into an important collaboration with Professor Luigi Manzoni, director of the Institute of Viticulture and Enology in Conegliano in the 1930s.
The result of this collaboration are the crosses that Professor Manzoni had created and planted in the Collalto vineyards. Today the winery celebrates this important moment with 4 wines obtained from the varieties invented by Professor Manzoni: Manzoni Bianco (Riesling Renano x Pinot Bianco); Manzoni Rosa (Trebbiano x Traminer); Manzoni Moscato (Muscat of Hamburg x Raboso Piave); Manzoni Rosso (Cabernet x Glera).
