Pinot Noir 2020 VDF Box da 6 bottiglie
The Pinot Noir VDF (Vin de France) from the Bougrier winery is a red wine that offers an interesting and accessible tasting experience. The VDF appellation allows producers to experiment and create wines that reflect their terroir and winemaking techniques, without being constrained by overly rigid rules such as those of appellations of controlled origin (AOC). The vinification of Pinot Noir VDF Bougrier is a delicate process that aims to extract the best from this noble grape variety. The Pinot Noir grapes are typically harvested by hand to select only the healthiest and ripest berries. Maceration is a crucial stage for Pinot Noir. The skins remain in contact with the must for a variable period, usually from a few days to a few weeks. During maceration, the aromatic compounds, tannins and colours pass from the skins to the must, giving the wine its typicality. During fermentation, the natural yeasts present on the grapes or added in purity transform the sugars in the must into alcohol and carbon dioxide. The temperature is carefully controlled to ensure optimal extraction of aromatic compounds and regular fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, wood or, more rarely, in the bottle. Ageing in steel enhances freshness and fruitiness, while ageing in wood adds complexity and spice.
