Spumante Brut Rosé Gold Magnum
Rosé Gold by Bottega is a sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Oltrepò Pavese. Pinot Noir has been present in this area for a century precisely for the sparkling wine business. In fact, the mixed clayey and calcareous soil of these hills together with the temperate weather conditions favor its ripening.
The harvest is manual. The grapes are de-stemmed and left in cold maceration for a day; in this way the must absorbs part of the color from the skins with no tannins and unwanted aromas. It is then pressed and only the free-run must without the skins begins fermentation in stainless steel. Second fermentation takes place in tank and the wine remains on its own fine lees to acquire structure and complexity. It is finally bottled with a dosage of 10-12 g / l.
