Alto Adige Gewürztraminer 2023

The Gewürztraminer grape variety is considered native to South Tyrol, in particular to the area of Termeno. In fact, the word literally means "the spicy grape of Termeno". Its main feature is the very intense scent of rose, tropical fruit and spices. Thanks to this perfume, the Gewürztraminer immediately conquers consumers, even the less experienced. Furthermore, on the palate it always gives smooth and intense wines. Cantina Terlano's Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer white wine comes from various vineyards in different areas of South Tyrol at altitudes between 270 and 450 meters.

The grapes are harvested by hand, are de-stemmed and the must is clarified by natural decanting. It ferments in stainless steel vats without skins at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for 6-7 months on the lees in steel tanks.
