ANTINORI

The Marquises Antinori have been producing wine in Tuscany since the 14th century. Since the end of 2012, the headquarters has been the underground cellar in Bargino (FI): a colossal work of modern architecture, open to visitors. The Chianti Classico Pèppoli and Villa Antinori are produced here, but all the executive offices, a shop, a restaurant and a museum are also located on the various floors of the structure.
At the helm of the company today are the sisters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia with Renzo Cotarella as CEO. They manage a constellation of agricultural estates in the main Tuscan wine areas, in other Italian regions and also in the new world. The production range is varied, but always characterized by extreme attention to quality, which has been the prerogative of the Marquis Piero Antinori since the 1970s, when with the creation of Tignanello he influenced the success of Tuscan wine more than any other in the world.
Not far from the new Bargino headquarters are the Tenuta di Tignanello and Badia a Passignano, where Antinori also has a starred restaurant. The following also belong to Antinori: Tenuta Monteloro in the hills north of Florence, Pian delle Vigne a Montalcino, Tenuta La Braccesca in Montepulciano, Tenuta Aldobrandesca and Tenuta Le Mortelle in Maremma and Tenuta Guado al Tasso in Bolgheri.
Outside Tuscany, Antinori is present in the Langhe with Prunotto, in Franciacorta with Montenisa, in Umbria with Castello della Sala, in Puglia with Tormaresca. It is also present with production activities in various countries around the world.
