Rosso di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne 2022
Rosso di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne 2022 is produced by Antinori, from pure Sangiovese, in the Val d'Orcia, a few kilometres from Montalcino.
After careful harvesting, the grapes are carefully destemmed and gently pressed; maceration takes place for about 8/10 days in steel tanks, and finally, after malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
The end result is a soft, elegant and balanced wine with lively but silky tannins. An excellence among Montalcino reds.
A small curiosity, this wine originates from the same vineyards from which Antinori produces its Brunello.

Suggestions
Serve in a medium-sized goblet at a temperature of around 16 °C; excellent to drink now or to keep in the cellar for another 2/3 years. We recommend enjoying it with a roast meat with a side dish of mushrooms.
