Pactio 2019 is the result of a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This Toscana Rosso IGT is intended to be a celebration of the Tuscan Maremma.
The label depicts the Janus Bifrontes, a Roman deity who looks at both the past and the future. Pactio embodies precisely this concept, wanting to act as a bridge between tradition and modernity.
The wine matures in tonneaux for 4 months, followed by a brief passage in the bottle.
Features
Colour: intense ruby red.
perfume: intense, fruity with hints of vanilla.
Taste: open and expressive, showing delicious ripe cherry notes on well-balanced tannins.
Suggestions
Goes well with elaborate meat dishes. Our recommendation: pappardelle with venison ragout or a platter of Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses.
