Lodai 2018 is the emblem of the Fertuna Estate. The rigorous selection of the grapes, the great respect for the terroir and the continuous quality of this wine have made it possible to establish Lodai as a refined expression of the Maremma and a symbol of all that this territory has to offer.
Vinified solely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this Maremma Toscana DOC is a wine with strong character, and rich in aromas, expressing complexity, structure and elegance.
Ageing takes place in tonneaux, new and second/third passage, followed by blending. The wine then rests in the bottle for at least six months.
Features
Colour: intense ruby red.
perfume: red fruits, pink pepper, chocolate, tobacco. Vinous, full-bodied with a lingering intensity.
Taste: acidity and tannin are perfectly harmonised in a constantly evolving texture. Extreme elegance.
Suggestions
To be served in a wide goblet, it perfectly accompanies structured meat dishes and mature cheeses.
Recommended with: meat sauce pasta, charcuterie, hams and cold meat.
