In 1997 began the exciting story of Fertuna, an estate located in the Tuscan Maremma, a region with a rich agricultural tradition rooted in Etruscan times. This estate is located in a natural and unspoilt environment, surrounded by vineyards that blend in perfectly with the surrounding wilderness. The property extends over 145 hectares, with 50 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of vines, initiated with careful analysis of the land.

The soil is rich in Galestro and Alberese, and the Maremma offers an ideal Mediterranean microclimate for growing grapes. In recent years, the area has seen considerable investment, introducing international vines alongside the native Sangiovese. The winery, built in harmony with its surroundings, adopts modern technology with a strong commitment to sustainability.

In 2016, the winery embraced organic farming, achieving certification in 2020 and pursuing further sustainability standards such as the Sustainable Winery label with Equalitas.
