Locone Cabernet 2021 Bio
A wine made from pure Cabernet, cultivated at Castel del Monte at an altitude of around 250 m, on mainly calcareous soils, under an organic system.
After careful harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed; alcoholic fermentation takes place in the vinification vats and maceration is carried out with punching down and pumping over, alternating, for about 10 days. Finally, the wine matures in oak barrels.
The end result is a wine with a soft palate and an interesting bouquet, mainly floral but quite varied, with enveloping tannins and a lingering finish.
A small curiosity, the name Locone comes from the lake of the same name in Minervino Murge.
