Tormaresca is a large Apulian winery with two estates in suitable areas of the region: Castel del Monte and Salento. The property belongs to the Antinori family who have understood the potential of the region to produce quality wines. In 1998 Antinori acquired the Bocca di Lupo estate in the Murgia and 10 years later created the cellar of Masseria Maime in Salento. Tormaresca is a leading player in the qualitative progress of Apulian wine.
Both estates work with organic farming and mainly cultivate native grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Aglianico, Fiano and Nero di Troia.
In all, Tormaresca manages 390 hectares of vineyards and produces 2.7 million bottles a year.
