Drago Bianco Chardonnay 2021
Chardonnay Drago Bianco is the only white wine in the Paladin range to be fermented in wood. This gives the wine a strong character, yet at the same time fine and elegant, making it a perfect wine for drinking throughout the meal.
The grapes are harvested late, with slight over-ripening, to increase the sugar content. The must ferments both in second and third passage French oak barriques and in large Slavonian casks. After a period of ageing, the wine is placed in steel containers to become more uniform.
Features
Colour: straw yellow with golden reflections.
perfume: vanilla, ripe pineapple and acacia flower.
Taste: warm, full and enveloping, with good acidity, persistence and length.
Suggestions
It can be uncorked immediately, but can also evolve in the bottle for up to 10 years. Designed for drinking throughout the meal, it goes perfectly with spicy cuisine and risottos.
Recommended with: fish.
