Bolgheri Rosso Poggio ai Ginepri 2021
If you look for a bargain, here’s Poggio ai Ginepri: an easy-to-approach Bolgheri Rosso. It comes from the vineyards closest to the sea, with sandy soil that enhances fragrant flavors and taste.
Each grape variety is processed separetely. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats with 15-20 days of total skin contact. Then half of the wine ages in used French barriques for about 8 months, while the other half remains in steel. At the end the two masses are blended and the wine is bottled.
The limited impact of oak ensures easy drinking.
