Vitiano Rosso 2021
The blend is composed of 34% Sangiovese, 33% Merlot and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and is cultivated in Montecchio at an altitude of 300 m, a few kilometres from Orvieto, with spurred cordon on a sedimentary, rather clayey and calcareous soil.
After careful selection, the grapes are vinified, at different times, through a long maceration on the skins, then the alcoholic maceration takes place in steel vats, for about 15 days, after which it matures for 3 months in barriques and then in bottles.
It is a pleasure to drink this wine that gives so much with so little, it is versatile, fresh and tasty, inviting you to drink more and more, sip after sip.
