Vitiano Cabernet 2022
The blend is 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon and is grown in Montecchio at an altitude of 300 m, a few kilometres from Orvieto, with spurred cordon on a sedimentary, rather clayey and calcareous soil.
After careful selection the grapes are cooled and then placed at a temperature of around 18 °C to prepare them for a pre-maceration of about 3/4 days, after increasing the temperature to 27/28 °C maceration continues, in steel containers, for about 12 days, and finally refining for 2 months in barriques.
The wine is young, warm and soft, with an intense flavour and a very rich finish, with firm but well-blended tannins.
