Vieux Pineau des Charentes Rosé
Produced in Juillac-Le-Coq, Vieux Pineau Des Charentes Rosé is made from a skilful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (50% each), with a process involving the fermentation of grape must interrupted by the addition of Cognac. This artisanal technique results in a wine with a unique profile, aged for at least 8 years in French oak barrels.
Its intense ruby red colour is a prelude to an aromatic bouquet rich in red fruits, while on the palate it is velvety and rounded, with notes of blackcurrant, raspberry jam and an intriguing hint of Port flavours. An ideal choice for those seeking a fortified wine that combines elegance and complexity.
