Vieux Pineau des Charentes Blanc
Vieux Pineau Des Charentes Blanc Jean Fillioux is a refined liqueur wine from the Juillac-Le-Coq region that represents excellence in the French oenological tradition.
Made exclusively from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes, this unique wine is born from a traditional technique that involves mixing fermented grapes with Cognac. Fermentation is interrupted by adding Cognac at 60°, when the must reaches 10 degrees alcohol, thus creating a fortified wine with an alcohol content of between 16 and 22 degrees. For every four parts of must, one part of Cognac is added, and the final product is aged in barrels previously used for Cognac, giving the wine complexity and depth.
To the eye, it is an elegant straw yellow with golden hues, while the nose releases intense aromas reminiscent of dried fruit and citrus fruits. On the palate, the flavour is velvety, rich and round, offering a long and complex taste experience, perfect for those seeking a liqueur wine with great character and structure. With its 17% alcohol content, it is ideal to sip as an aperitif or in combination with refined desserts.
