Traminer Aromatico 2021

Gewürrztraminer (in Italian Traminer aromatico) is an aromatic grape variety par excellence: its strong point is its intense, floral and spicy aroma. Jermann cultivates the Gewürztraminer in the hills of the eastern Collio on the characteristic soils, called “ponca”, formed by layers of marl and sandstone rich in limestone and minerals. The plants are grown in such a way as not to accumulate too many sugars and to obtain a wine with a dry taste and balanced by freshness. Bottles are closed with screwcap, ideal to retain the fragrance of the wine.

The grapes are harvested in September and vinified in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for a few months in steel vats on the lees.
