Terre di San Leonardo 2020
Terre di San Leonardo has all it needs to be appreciated: inviting aromas, balanced taste, ease of drinking and refined style. Moreover it is a real bargain.
The estate’s vineyards lie on the left bank of the Adige, south of Rovereto in Trentino. The mild but cool climate favors a perfect ripening of the Bordeaux grapes, which are impeccably blended here.
The wine ferments in concrete tanks with daily pumping over; it ages partly in concrete and partly in second passage barriques.
Features
Colour: bright garnet red.
perfume: wild berries jam wrapped in balsamic and spicy nuances.
Taste: medium body, well balanced, round, gentle tannins, savory finish.
Suggestions
It is proposed after some years of aging, to be appreciated without delay paired with a mixed grill or with a meat sauce pasta.
Recommended with: grilled red meat, pork, meat sauce pasta, noble poultry.
