Riesling 2022

This Riesling comes from vineyards located principally in two areas: 

-  Palai at 700 m a.s.l. with mainly limestone and marl soils

- Valbona at 450 m a.s.l., this area was shaped in ancient times by retreating glaciers and later by the Scorzai stream. Excavations in the volcanic rock created dark brown sandy soils rich in skeleton.

The grapes are washed and pressed in a controlled atmosphere, a technique developed by the winery to maintain the organoleptic and antioxidant characteristics of the variety. 

The wine rests on the lees in acacia barrels before bottling.

Straw yellow in colour, the nose is aromatic with clear notes of peach and apricot. As it evolves, it releases notes of hydrocarbons, typical of this variety. 

On the palate it is firm and mineral, with a long persistence.
