Puglia Rosso da uve leggermente appassite 2023
The wine is made with local Apulian grapes and with the use of the drying (“appassimento”) technique, as shown on the label. That is to say that it is not made with fresh grapes, but with grapes left to partially dry and this determines an intense, concentrated and particularly soft taste. The result is a red wine with a deep color and marked fruity flavors of plum and blackberry with a powerful and at the same time soft and velvety taste.
The overripe or partially dried grapes are de-stemmed and fermented with the skins in stainless steel vats. After racking, the wine also carries out malolactic fermentation.
