Oenophile Non Dosé Brut Nature 1er Cru 2018

A special 'non dosé' product, Pierre Gimonnet's Champagne 'Oenophile' Brut is a wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. 75% of the grapes come from vineyards classified as Grand Cru, the remaining 25% come from vineyards classified as Premier Cru located in the village of Cuis. The "Oenophile" Brut is a Champagne produced only in the best vintages and, thanks to the "non dosé" (i.e. the non-addition of dosage syrup), has a sugar content of less than 3 grams per litre.

This particular choice during the classic sparkling process makes 'Oenophile' Brut a complex and mature sparkling wine, characterised by a fresh and fruity aromatic profile, with a floral note that enhances the characteristics of the Chardonnay grape and the Cuis terroir. The lack of dosage allows the naturalness and elegance of the wine to be fully appreciated, without the addition of any syrup to balance the acidity or adjust the sugar level.
