Nadir syrah Sicilia 2020
Inside the estate we find a land where clays and tuffaceous sands alternate with each other at about 300-400 meters above sea level. It is here that Syrah is grown, from whose clusters Nadir is born, a wine that takes its name from the Arabic Nazir, which means deep, precious. This wine carries out an initial cold pre-maceration of six days, before the traditional one, at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. These techniques favor a better extraction of aromas and tannins, which are soft and fragrant. Part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in medium toasted and first passage barriques. After a few months of aging, it is combined with the remaining mass. Then it matures in steel at a controlled temperature for a year. In this way we obtain a fragrant, fresh, fruity wine with great drinkability and consistency in the mouth.
