Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Spelt 2020 Box da 6 bottiglie

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Spelt is produced using Montepulciano grapes selected from vineyards between 26 and 46 years old. 

Harvesting, strictly by hand, begins in the first week of October. The grapes, transported to the winery, are crushed and destemmed and fermented for about three weeks in steel vats. 

After fermentation, the wine is aged for 16 months partly in oak barrels and partly in barriques and tonneaux. Once blended, it makes a further stop in oak barrels and then is bottled and ages another year in bottle before being marketed.
