Lambrusco di Sorbara Spumante Brut La Riserva 2021

La Riserva is the name that Paltrinieri gives to his sparkling Lambrusco di Sorbara made with a long aging on the lees. The grapes come from the most suitable area for the Lambrusco di Sorbara variety, that is, from the so called “Vigna al Cristo”, where the Secchio and Panaro rivers approach as never before. In this strip of land the vines cultivated by Paltrinieri have their roots in a loose, loamy and sandy soil, responsible for subtle and particularly fragrant wines. The vineyards are managed with the integrated pest management system to reduce the impact of chemicals on the environment.

Grape bunches are pressed to obtain a pale pink must. This ferments without skins in concrete vats. Finally, the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave using the tank method and the sparkling wine rests on the lees for 12 months before being bottled.
