Guardiavigna 2016
Guardiavigna is a wine made from carefully selected Cabernet Franc grapes grown in organic and biodynamic viticulture.
The planting density is 6,250 plants per hectare and the vines are bush-trained.
The grapes are harvested manually in small 15 kg cases and brought to the cellar where they are carefully selected. Thanks to the cellar's five-storey structure, the grapes can be conveyed into the vats by gravity, thus maintaining their integrity and organoleptic characteristics.
Fermentation takes place in French oak vats and lasts approximately 35 days. After that, the wine is put into French oak casks where it is aged for 18-20 months.
After bottling, the wine is aged in bottles for 18-24 months before being put on the market.
