Podere Forte is a company that was founded in 1997 in the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco heritage site since 2004.
Pasquale Forte, founder of the company, has given life to the ancient idea of 'cortes romana', a place where man, plants and animals coexist harmoniously in a single system, following organic and biodynamic viticulture.
The cellar is structured on five floors, two of which are above ground. This allows the grapes, musts and wines to be transported without the aid of pumps, thus maintaining the organoleptic characteristics and integrity of the raw material.
The winery also has a laboratory that allows for the prompt analysis of the grapes, musts and wines and subsequent monitoring.
