Drago Rosso Merlot 2020
Paladin's Drago Rosso red wine is made entirely from Merlot grapes, harvested slightly overripe, from vineyards with the best exposure to the sun. This allows the wine to acquire its distinctive decisive aromatic charge and enveloping structure.
The intensity of the colour is enhanced by vinification at 25°C, followed by 18 days' maceration on the skins. Alcoholic fermentation begins in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by a second fermentation in large casks.
It is a wine with a decisive and important structure, suitable for all situations.
Features
Colour: intense ruby red.
perfume: strong aromatic charge balanced by hints of red fruit and slight spicy notes.
Taste: full and well structured, with light tannin giving a persistent and harmonious finish.
Suggestions
It can be drunk on any occasion. Try it in combination with charcuterie and cheese, for an excellent aperitif.
Recommended with: charcuterie, hams and cold meat.
