Crémant d'Alsace Grande Cuvée Brut Box da 6 bottiglie
The production of the fine Crémant d'Alsace Grande Cuvée Brut Gruss is rooted in a skilful combination of tradition and innovation.
The vineyards from which the grapes come are located in the renowned Alsace region of France, characterised by a temperate continental climate with Atlantic and mountain influences. The undulating, south-east facing hillsides benefit from excellent sunshine and good ventilation, ideal factors for optimal ripening of the grapes.
The Crémant d'Alsace Grande Cuvée Brut Gruss is composed of an expertly balanced blend of four noble grape varieties: Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling and Pinot Noir. Each grape variety contributes to giving the wine its unique characteristics:
Harvesting is done manually, according to the optimal degree of ripeness of each grape variety. The grapes are carefully selected and gently pressed to extract the best juices.
Vinification takes place according to the Metodo Classico, with a second fermentation in the bottle that gives the wine its unique characteristics. The wine rests on the lees for a minimum of 24 months, giving it complexity, harmony and a fine, persistent perlage.
The Crémant d'Alsace Grande Cuvée Brut Gruss, with its minimum ageing period of 24 months, is an excellent example of how this period of rest is fundamental to the quality and complexity of a great Crémant d'Alsace.
