Champagne Marie-Leopold Sec Box da 6 bottiglie
Apollonis' Champagne Marie-Leopold Sec is dedicated to Marie, winemaker and daughter of the winery's current owner, Michel, and to Leopold, Michel's great-grandfather; it embodies the link between generations of the family.
It is a discreetly sweet champagne that matures for up to three years in the bottle, on the lees. A special note of the winery is the fact that the champagnes, during their aging, are accompanied by classical music, as it is believed to positively influence the wine.
Features
Colour: straw yellow with fine and persistent perlage.
perfume: candied apple, orange peel and hints of custard.
Taste: soft, creamy, harmonious and with a sweetness well balanced by freshness.
Suggestions
The tendency toward sweetness makes it perfect to enjoy at the end of a meal, together with a dessert, including chocolate. However, the pairing with foie gras should also be tried.
Recommended with: shellifish, crab and lobster, fish, dry pastries, cakes.
