Bolgheri Rosso Adèo 2020

Adeo is an excellent red wine from Bolgheri produced with Bordeaux varieties from a reliable and established winery. It is full-bodied and intense and easy to approach; it is smooth and soft on the palate, it has that typical Bolgheri freshness that makes it perfect in combination with food. Bolgheri Rosso Adeo is made with Cabernet sauvignon and partly Merlot grown on the vineyards along the Via Bolgherese a few kilometers from the coastline. The vineyards are located less than 100 meters above sea level between the Tyrrhenian coast and the hills, in a privileged position. The climatic characteristics of Bolgheri are sunshine, the mild climate all year round and the diurnal temperature range during the days in which the grapes reach maturity. The alluvial, sandy and clayey soil, with pebbles and mineral elements is particularly favorable to the Bordeaux varieties. The vineyards are modern systems with high planting density: up to 9,500 plants per hectare.

Merlot is harvested before Cabernet Sauvignon and the two grape varieties are vinified separately. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats with maceration on the skins for 15-20 days; after racking, the wine also undergoes malolactic fermentation and finally it ages in French oak barrels for one year.
