Bellovedere Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva 2020 Box da 6 bottiglie
Bellovedere Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva is only produced in the best vintages, in which there is excellent weather and the grapes ripen fully.
Harvesting begins at the end of October, when the grapes reach phenolic ripeness and the balance between sugars and acidity. The must ferments for about thirty days in Slavonian oak vats and the wine then matures partly in barriques/tonneaux, partly in cement and partly remains in the same fermentation vats.
At the end of the ageing process, which lasts about 18 months, the wine is blended and bottled.
Features
Colour: dark ruby with violet reflections.
perfume: dark plum, blackberry nectar and herbs, with hints of coffee and cocoa.
Taste: lively and powerful; dense but fresh, with noble, powerful tannins and a long, clean finish.
Suggestions
Can age for more than 5 years. We recommend it in combination with elaborate red meat dishes, such as stracotto or braised meat.
Recommended with: roasts.
