Ribolla Gialla 2022
This white wine is produced with the autochthonous Ribolla Gialla vine in purity. It stands out for its youthful scent and for its vivacity on the palate, given by the tasty acidity; such a fresh character makes the mouthfeel light and lean, despite having a medium structure. The grapes come from vineyards cultivated at 60 meters above sea level between the plain near the coast and the first hills in the province of Gorizia. The vineyards have partly ancient sandstone soils and partly pebbly soils of alluvial origin.
The harvest takes place at the end of September. The grapes are pressed and the free-run must is clarified by natural cold decanting. Afterwards the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and ages on the fine lees in steel for 4 months.
