Château de Barbe Blanche Rouge Lussac-Saint-Emilion AOC 2019 Box da 6 bottiglie
Château de Barbe Blanche Rouge embodies the elegance and refinement of the Saint-Émilion region, presenting a rich and satisfying sensory profile. The Château de Barbe Blanche vineyard, in the heart of the prestigious Lussac-Saint- Émilion appellation, stands on a plateau of asterisked limestone, a distinctive feature of the renowned Saint-Émilion region. This particular rock composition provides optimal conditions that are reflected in the exceptional quality of the wines produced.
2019 was a vintage marked by unique challenges and opportunities. A mild winter anticipated bud break, while low spring rainfall and summer drought tested winemakers' resilience. Fortunately, the August rains brought relief, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally and ensuring the creation of a wine of extraordinary quality.
Fermentation lasts about three weeks, a period that varies according to vintage and tannin maturity. This is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels, 50 percent of which are new, with regular racking every quarter. This process allows the wine to develop its complexity and fully reveal its unique character.
