Bibbianaccio 2016 Tenuta di Bibbiano
Bibbianaccio 2016 IGT is produced from a blend of grapes containing: Sangiovese 50%, Colorino 45% and Malvasia Bianca del Chianti and Trebbiano in the remaining 5%. The grapes are grown, organically, on a calcareous clayey soil with Albarese mixture in Bibbiano, in the area of Castellina in Chianti.
The grapes are harvested by hand, fermentation takes place in small French oak barrels and maturation takes place over 24 months, equally divided between French and Slavonian oak tonneaux.
The end result is a structured wine with an excellent smoothness, where the characteristics of its grapes blend perfectly together. The bouquet is ample and the previously perceived scents are confirmed on the palate, the finish is persistent with a pleasant fruity and spicy return.
