Sinuessa is Villa Matilde's flagship Falanghina, which is characterised by its floral and fruity bouquet and the perfect balance it delivers in the mouth.
Sourced from vineyards located on volcanic soils enriched with phosphorous and potassium, this 100% Falanghina comes from grapes harvested at night, in mid-September. After gentle pressing of the grapes, the must undergoes static decantation and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 10/12°C for about 20 days. Afterwards, the wine is refined in stainless steel tanks for about 3 months.
Features
Colour: pale straw yellow.
perfume: fruity and floral, hints of pineapple, banana, yellow peach intertwine with notes of broom, rose and sage.
Taste: balanced and pleasant, with delicately almondy sensations.
Suggestions
An excellent Falanghina as an aperitif, to be drunk with light, white meat or fish dishes.
Recommended with: shellifish, crab and lobster, fish, fresh cheese.
