Biserno Toscana Rosso 2019
Biserno is produced in the Upper Maremma, where the climate is suitable for the Bordeaux grapes. The vines are trained with the spurred cordon system, with a planting density of 6500 vines per hectare. The wine comes from a careful selection of the best grapes. The destemming and soft pressing is followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 4 weeks. The wine rests for 15 months in the barrique, 75% new and the rest already used. The refinement in the bottle before being marketed is at least one year, but the wine gives its best after 4 from bottling.
