Pistus Etna Rosso 2020
The name of the wine means 'Pestato', it addresses what should be the state of energy of a Sicilian farmer after a long day of work in the fields.
This linguistic reference means and explains the philosophy and the idea behind this wine, a product of the earth and immediate but warm for those who taste it.
After a careful selection in the vineyard, the bunches are taken from the youngest vineyards (10 years) that the company owns on the northern slope of Etna, spontaneous fermentation is carried out in the cellar with maceration on the skins for 14 days, directly in the cement tanks where the wine will stay for 9 months of refinement.
It is a red Etna of strength and character in which we try to preserve its more rustic and immediate side.
