Perrier-Jouët

The Maison was founded in 1811 by the spouses Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, both of great views, lovers of nature and art. Immediately their Champagnes were successful to the point of achieving higher prices than competitors. Their son Charles developed the export to England, where bone-dry Champagne were appreciated and he started selling Champagne to Queen Victoria. The reputation for the quality of Perrier-Jouët Champagnes has never waned.
The company is based in one of the most famous centers in the Champagne area: Epernay and has vineyards especially in the Côte de Blancs, where Chardonnay reigns. And it is in fact on Chardonnay that the production of Perrier-Jouët focuses, highlighting the character of elegance and finesse of the grape. The flowers that are represented in the brand have always been an organoleptic character of the Maison's products, to the point that in 1902 they created a memorable bottle with Japanese anemones by the artist Emile Gallé printed on the glass. This is their most famous Champagne: the Belle Epoque.
