Letrari is an important private winery in Trentino, led with great skill and enthusiasm by Lucia Letrari after the death of her father Leonello, who had founded it in 1976. However the origins of the Letrari family are witnessed in Trentino since the seventeenth century. Leonello Letrari, after gaining his first experiences as an oenologist in Tuscany, before founding his own business, had consulted as an oenologist for many other Trentino wineries and had contributed to the development of modern Trentino winemaking including sparkling wine production.

The Letrari winery is located in Rovereto in the province of Trento and the vineyards extend over various areas of Vallagarina. The winery vinifies only its own grapes, converting them into an articulated range of white wines, red wines and traditional method sparkling wines. The Trentodoc sparkling wines line is the real flagship of the Letrari winery, even if we cannot fail to mention the merit of the great Bordeaux blended wines created since the 90s. Letrari produces 160,000 bottles a year from 23 hectares of vineyards.
