The François Peyrot maison was founded in 1970 when François and Gisèle Peyrot decided to bottle their own Cognacs. However, the agricultural estate has existed since 1893 and since 1956 has been involved in distilling Cognac. The 25 hectares of vineyards are all located in Grande Champagne, the heart of the production area of the famous French spirit. From generation to generation they have handed down experience and expertise and in the last 20 years they have focused on the goal of the highest quality by adopting principles of environmental sustainability.
Since the 1970s they have also specialized in making Cognac-based liqueurs using only natural fruit flavors. The most famous and appreciated is the pear liqueur with cognac.
